Wow it's been 3 months since our daughter was born!

Well, we have reached the 3-month point of life. She eats well, cries louder and laughs when it’s funny. I mean seriously, she may have my Marine Corps humor because the other day she had a blow-out… I’m not talking about cars here, we’re discussing diapers. Well, anyway I just fed her and I was telling the baby “that it was time for bed” when out of thin air “sniff sniff” she pooped out her diaper. I’m not making this up, she pooped so hard, the only option to clean her was to give her a bath. When everything was occurring (parental freakouts and all) this infant of a CareBear was laughing. It was at that moment, that I was officially jumped into the parenting gang; fortunately, I was never peed on as a parent, but now I have been pooped on (all over my forearm). Also, I would like to mention that baby’s neck strength is coming along smoothly, I mean she will head-butt you from time to time. This reminds me of an NFL, NHL type competition where there is going to be a winner and a loser.

Parenting ProTip: You’ve made it this far, now its time to teach what you never knew. American Sign Language ASL is a beneficial training in communication with your little one. Once mastered, they’re introduced to another culture, and for my parents, it’s so easy to remember it reminds me of schoolhouse rock (Conjunction Junction what’s your function?).

To my CareBear, I can see that in the future ASL will be a way that we communicate with each other when we want 1-on-1 time.
