Is it 24 months or 2 years old?🤷♂️🤦♂️
IWell, from this line of sight, I see clear skies, lush grass, a doe, which is a deer, a female dear, ray, a pot of golden suuuuun; and she continues to grow Cicada free noises at night a doe in my backyard; a doe is a deer, a female deer and a ray is a pot of golden suuuuun. Recently, the CareBear had her birthday shots! That means she has had her 2-year check-up which was calm and smooth and quite different from the last. Yeah, she understood that something was going to happen. Believe it or not, things went by smooth. Did she cry, yes, but the question is “was the cry short?” I can say yes as again. As time continues, things change, and with that change you must find comfort in what it can bring you.
Aside from that, this little bear of care for some reason enjoys following me everywhere, I mean, I cannot type a email without her climbing into my lap or begin fixing my coffee without her at my leg. I believe I messed up by entertaining her every time I realized that she’s near me, or justified her presence with snacks for both her and I.
At the Doctors office after showing such a OUTSTANDING job, Instead of a lollipop, she received a book, I’m a huge fan of this simply because knowledge is something that no-one can take from you. I must ensure to share this with her when she gets older. Now, with all this change, her toys and location has grown as well. Instead of closing the gate to her condo, she has no gate present for her play-space. She has more freedom to come and go as she pleases because, she has proven herself dependable and independence on things. As I have mentioned about the above reference; yeah, she now has the jagged stuff. The stuff you don’t want to walk on in the middle of the night. They are called Duplo’s and Lego’s! Duplo’s are much larger than Lego’s so as a chocking hazard, always limit that exposure without supervision. Maybe later if I want to go throwback, I can set her up on a game of Jacks but even I did not play this. I have stepped on them, but I have never played them.
The next step is to sidewalk-chalk letters and numbers, hopscotch and Double-Dutch. When was the last time you played those games? My game back in the day was either kickball or dodgeball. I still remember the sound of a Voit ball to the face when their hit just right. Maybe, I should look at the calmer things like flying a kite. Yeah, those are the elements of back in the day that I remember. Understand that I’m not reliving the days past for me, I just want exposure to the CareBear of times where creativity were the backbone of being a kid. The imagination is a mighty strong tool to use, it is the knife of things; with a knife, you can use it as a weapon or you can use it as a tool.
There will not be a parenting Pro-Tip in this edition of Onanuga Chronicles; in that, I must apologize, maybe on the next posting I’ll have something.
